Demir Dagh Early Production Facility – Iraq.

Project information

The Demir Dagh Early Production Facility (EPF) is an oil and gas processing facility in the Demir Dagh oil field, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Commissioned to design the facility and tanker loading station, Awali contributed from concept through engineering, design and construction. The fast-track project delivered a facility capable of processing 25,000–30,000 barrels of oil per day, as well as produced gas and water. Awali’s work included facility design, feed studies and proposals, and site surveys. We developed an interactive 3D model of the piping, equipment and structures, designed pipe supports and produced relevant 2D drawings. Awali also carried out asset modifications and piping and structural analysis. We conducted model and design reviews in the UK and Iraq and provided assistance on-site during construction.
